Im surprised that Asus revamped their famous Asus Eee Box 1501 and with its revamped, it would ditch over the standard DVD Drive and change it with and all new Blu Ray Drive. This is the first time I heard that a netbook sport a Blu Ray drive, so I guess that most people would prefer to have a netbook with a Blu Ray Drive in it.
The 1501 is a solid net-top as it is. With a Blu-ray drive, it becomes a perfect media box solution for pretty much any living room. It’s got a dual-core Atom 330 processor, Nvidia Ion graphics, a 320 GB HDD, 2 GB of RAM, and Windows 7 home premium. It will cost 400 Euros. No U.S. launch date has been given, but that should be coming (along with a price) in short order.
You now have a portable netbook that you can enjoy both for casual and high definition media with the Asus Eee Box 1501 Blu Ray. A powerful netbook that can play Blu Ray media discs.

Another good thing about the Asus Eee pc is that it does not overheat when used over long periods of time. ,,
